Merlin Constructions took on the task of renovating a heritage-listed sandstone building, restoring its original charm and adding a modern extension for a growing family. Working with Alex Reed at McArthy, Reed Architects, the design focused on maximizing space, sunlight, and aesthetic appeal. Challenges arose during demolition due to limited access and the intricate sandstone block construction. The renovation included structural enhancements, elegant joinery, Tas Oak floors, and exquisite tiles, transforming the house into a modern masterpiece.
